Krumpole’s Kingdom

by | Aug 25, 2023

The Krumpole’s Kingdom Collection was written in order to support children experiencing mental health challenges. These lively, engaging picture books are designed for children to read alongside an adult and follow the lives of the Royal Krumpole family. Join the characters in their medieval kingdom as they struggle with problems that many of us face in life and that children can find difficult to process without support. These stories explore how children engage with mental health issues and how they are often expressed through action and relationship.

The first book in the series, due to be published in 2024, follows the character of Roly, who thinks that everyone would be happier if he just disappeared. We are very thankful to Cameron Memorial Trust for awarding us funding in order to bring Roly’s story to life.

All books in the collection include questions for families, counsellors and teachers to discuss with their children. We hope that these books will become a well-used resource throughout the country and as a result, that many young lives will be changed for the better.
